Occupational and Environmental Health Program

The activities of the Occupational and Environmental Health Program include:

Education

The Occupational and Environmental Health Program offers MSc/PhD training in occupational health through the Department of Public Health Sciences and the Department of Medicine and continuing medical education for family physicians and practitioners. Staff also contribute to teaching in the undergraduate program in medicine at the University of Alberta.

Research

Faculty in the Occupational Medicine Program have extensive research records and are well funded, by national and international funding bodies, government, industry, workers' compensation and charities to carry out etiological, intervention and applied research.

Consultancy

Inquiries are most welcome about the possibility of members of the group acting as consultants or giving advice in the areas of their special competence.
