Occupational and Environmental Medicine Clinic
Occupational medicine is a medical discipline that deals clinically and administratively with the health needs of both individuals and groups with respect to their working environment and include the recognition, evaluation, control, management and prevention of occupationally related diseases and injuries.
The Occupational and Environmental Medicine Clinic at the University of Alberta provides evaluation and management recommendations for injured workers and referred cases reflecting occupational or environmental exposures and is a member of the Association of Occupational and Environmental Clinics.
